Karan Johar, Shahrukh Khan to launch Varun and Sidharth
Karan Johar has a penchant for spotting talent. After all, he has launched many talented directors in the recent past. Now, he along with good pal Shahrukh Khan is all set to launch actors Varun Dhawan (younger son of director David Dhawan) and Sidharth Malhotra (not to be confused with director Siddharth P Malhotra) in a new project.
While the project will be co-produced by Karan's Dharma Productions and SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, the director of this venture is yet to be finalised.
Incidentally, both the newcomers Varun and Sidharth worked as Assistant Directors in Karan's My Name Is Khan.
Must say that this is indeed a dream launch pad for the two new kids on the block.
