Well people may not have bothered to react on Sanjay Bhansali’s ‘‘Guzzarish’ as it has failed to attract the desired audience but reactions from B-town are becoming more and more personal.
The latest to join this debate on the push and pull of commercial success and cinematic excellence is Anil Kapoor who is going great guns by doing an international project with Tom cruise but the Anil couldn,t control his feelings when Salman repeated his sentiments on his once good friend Bhansali.
Anil Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna came promoting ‘Bigg Boss’ when Salman said in an undertone that though while giving those statements, he was referring to the older films of Bhansali in which Salman worked and not’ Guzaarish’.
Salman said, “If he (SLB) is angry so be it”, “Saath to 4 – 5 film ka tha par 2 par hi khatam ho gaya”, ( it was suppose to be an association of 4-5 films but it ended after 2).
Anil Kapoor whose daughter Sonam Kapoor made her debut along with Ranbir Kapoor in the dude called ‘Saawariya’ which was directed by Bhansali couldn’t control his feelings and said that “had he (SLB) taken Salman in the lead, the movie wouldn’t have flopped”.
Oh baby, we all knew that Salman was holding grudges against Bhansali but now we come to know that Anil Kapoor is also not happy with the director.
Well, Anil has its reasons; first the movie was a dud and second Ranbir Kapoor who also made entry with this film along with Sonam took all the limelight. Toh its ‘beign human’ to get angry na boss.
