Akshay Kumar to host Zee Cine awards

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is all set to host an award ceremony for the first time. The actor will co-host the annual Zee Cine awards along with his director Sajid Khan.A friend said, “Akshay is very excited and the rehearsals will start soon. Akshay and Sajid have also been close friends from a long time and the chemistry will be there for everyone to see.

Sajid Khan is very keen to have a very funny script for their act and they will be pulling everyone’s legs. Akshay Kumar has been paid a massive amount for the act as well.” The source added, “It can be recalled that Ashutosh Gowarikar and Sajid Khan had a huge fight during one of the awards. Let’s hope that the two don’t offend anybody this time.”

The show will be held soon and an official announcement about Akshay hosting it will be done soon.

The cover must have given Shatrughan an idea of how his little daughter has grown very ambitious.It was only recently, at the time of the release of the film Dabangg, that Sonakshi had said that she had certain limits which she would never overstep. She had said that she would never wear revealing clothes to gain popularity. After Dabangg was declared a hit, Sonakshi had said: "I don't need to expose, I have gathered enough appreciation wearing a sari in this film." In Dabangg, Sonakshi had played the demure wife of police officer Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman Khan . Sonakshi's mom Poonam, too, had once said: "Sonakshi comes from a reputed family which has film as well as political connections, so, there are certain rules that she will have to follow." Looks like times have changed now. Sonakshi has probably realised that to remain in competition, she has to shed her inhibitions fast. Moreover, the slightly plump actress has also lost weight. So, there is no reason why she shouldn't show off her toned figure. Whatever daddy's reaction might be, we think Ms Sinha is looking good.

Aamir Khan named Entertainment Business Leader of the year

Aamir Khan was named Entertainment Business Leader of the Year at the MCX Stock Exchange and CNBC-TV18's India Business Leader Awards 2010.

Salman's best friend signs Shahrukh for his next film

Salman Khan's best friend Sajid Nadiadwala signs Shah Rukh Khan for his next film to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is to Salman Khan, what Karan Johar is to Shah Rukh Khan. They are like family. Salman and Sajid are like brothers. When the SRK-Salman battlelines were drawn, everyone picked sides.

It was clear if you were a friend to one camp, you were not welcome on the other side. But now Nadiadwala has signed SRK for his adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Two States.
 
And everyone is waiting and watching if this will affect their dosti.

The film was earlier to star Saif and Priyanka and was to be directed by Siddharth Anand. Now it will star King Khan and a new girl, and will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Confirms an insider, "Sajid is producing Vishal Bhardwaj's film starring SRK. It's an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Two States, and Sajid has bought the rights to the novel. 

When the directors changed, Vishal approached Shah Rukh for a narration. SRK loved the script."

Around a week ago Sajid and SRK met and discussed the project. The source continues, "Shah Rukh spoke to Sajid from Berlin and they met after he returned.
 
The shooting will commence from mid next year."

In an industry where cliques are very clear, it is natural for Sajid's friends Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to be upset with his decisionto produce a film starring rival Shah Rukh. 

Meanwhile it is learnt that Nadiadwala's film Kick starring Salman has now been postponed, as the film starring the Ra.One star goes on the floors first.

About The Film
Two States is an intense love story between a young couple from two different states and is based in cities like Delhi and Mumbai. It will have Shah Rukh playing Krish (a young Punjabi guy from Delhi) while Ananya will be played by a newcomer as the girl is a South Indian one. Red Chillies, Sajid and Vishal are co-producing the film

Madhuri Dixit will be judging Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4

The original dancing queen of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit has been missing from the limelight for quiet some time now. However, the actress is all set to make a comeback on the small screen as the judge of a reality show.

She was last seen in YRF productions Aaja Nachle, which turned out to be a huge box office dud. This Bollywood actress will be assessing other people on their dancing abilities on the fourth season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, which is an Indian adaptation of Dancing with the Stars.

When asked Madhuri about this she says, “Dance has always been my passion and this show is also associated with that and this is the only reason I decided to be a judge on it. It took me a while to say yes. After I went back to LA and saw Dancing with the Stars, I was convinced to take this offer.”

Our very own Dhak Dhak girl will have the company of Remo D’Souza in the panel of judges. The name of the third judge has not been reveled yet, but there are rumors that Saroj Khan may join the panel. “I have no clue who the third judge is and it will be the decision of Sony. But it will be good for me if Sarojji is the third judge. I am keeping my fingers crossed,” says Madhuri.

As a judge for the dance show, she will be concentrating on the participants poise, grace and the attitude, rest of the details will be left for the other judges. Madhuri says, “The participants on this show are well-known in their own fields. They are people who are very ambitious and will put in their best for winning this challenge. I will be looking at how they project themselves and bring their personalities in the performance.”

Deepika: Enough of Ranbir and Sid

We are sure that Siddharth Mallya will not like this. The recent buzz is that Deepika Padukone is not his girlfriend. Apparently, their affair is an official agreement for keeping them in news and to show him in the media as the right man in the town. In short, it means that he is the desirable heir for Dr. Vijay Mallya’s flamboyant boots.

The best way to get any confirmation in this gossip was from the lady herself. However, Deepika said that she will never agree about her affair with the Mallya scion. She says, “I don’t think I am ever going to be ready. There are various reasons. Last year there was too much focus on my personal life and no focus on my professional life. I have worked hard and I know people love me because of that and because where I am going out for dinners and with whom. Therefore, I want the speculations of Sid be and not clarify anything.”

In the past, she had admitted her relationship with Ranbir, but it did not help, because there were questions about her wedding and babies asked over and over again. Therefore, now the curiosity suits her. “It will not harm me. I will never stop leading my kind of life because of the speculations that happen every now and then, I am not concerned about what people have to say about me. Denying or admitting a relation will never stop people from speculating. I will not let anyone enter my personal life anymore. I have drawn a line here,” said Deepika.

Her next film Break ke Baad is about a couple who get back together after a break-up, so Dips is again being harassed with questions about Ranbir. All of this has lead to actress to go mad. Her replies are always guarded and she will never mention names, but all these are directly attributed to her ex-flame.

Everyone seems to be happy in their personal space and they are always cordial. So, we guess anything is possible.
