Salman Khan: Im a better cricketer than actor!

Attired in a kool white shirt and denims, Salman Khan was in fine form at the Press meet centred around the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL); an idea that merges two of the most popular modes of entertainment for any Indian: cricket and films.

The CCL is an idea to combine the two religions of cricket and films to produce one sensational mixture of entertainment for the audience. And the first rate action is slated to kickstart from the last week of January 2011.

Leading the Bollywood team from the front is 'Mumbai Heroes', spearheaded by Sohail Khan Entertainment. Salman is the icon player of the team, while Suniel Shetty is being pencilled in as the captain.

"I started with football, then went on to hockey and finally took cricket seriously," said Salman. "I'm a better cricketer than actor. I play incredible cricket!"

A posse of the other team members: Riteish Deshmukh, Makarand Deshpande, Aftab Shivdasani and others, were in attendance too.

Taking a jolly pot shot at the 'Mumbai Heroes' guys the 'Dabangg' dude said, "Cricket is a religion for these guys and a hobby for them. For me, acting is my religion and cricket is my hobby."
