With audience being totally oblivious to the new releases a week ago, the one which made the best of the situation was 'Golmaal 3'. Despite a huge opening of over 60 crores in the Diwali week, 'Golmaal 3' hung on tremendously well at the box office to register a mere 55% odd fall. This Rohit Shetty starrer garnered around 30 crores more in its second week, hence crossing the 90 crores milestone. Add to this the collections of the third weekend and 'Golmaal 3' has comfortably marched past 'Raajneeti' to become the second biggest money spinner of 2010 after 'Dabangg' (140 crores).

On the other hand 'Action Replayy' further crashed at the box office with a 70% fall. With a mere 6 crores more coming in, the film has touched the 29 crores mark but would merely cross 30 crores at the box office.

One can't really exclaim 'Dunno Y...' for the disastrous fate of three new releases - 'A Flat', 'Ramaa - The Saviour' and 'Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun...'. None of the three films could even complete a single week run at the box office and hence proved to be a complete washout. In fact the release of the three films too went unnoticed while a biz zero in the balance sheet didn't come as a surprise either. The collections were negligible and except for 'A Flat' which could still find some audience amongst the ones enticed by horror genre, 'Ramaa - The Saviour' and 'Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun...' won't even find any takers on the home video front.
